A Chinook High School senior is bringing home some money after competing in a national competition.
Last Friday, Cord Schneider competed against 10 other students from across the United States at the Youth Entrepreneurs Start-Up Challenge in Michigan.
He won $6,000 to go towards his business, which is designing custom bumpers, after pitching his idea to a panel of judges.
The idea came to Schneider a few years ago when he and his dad started building bumpers. He now runs his business out of his family’s garage.
Schneider was the only student from Montana to compete.
