BILLINGS – Voters named Billings Central High School “The War of the Walls” winner at the Master Lube on North 27th Street Friday.
The mural painted by Carter Song and Jo LaVe won with 44 percent of the votes according to MasterLube’s Facebook page Friday afternoon.
On Saturday, all Masterlube locations in Billings and Laurel will host car washes put on by students. All the proceeds from oil changes and car washes at all the locations will be put toward the high schools’ alcohol-free graduation parties.
According to MasterLube’s website, the wall painting tradition has been running strong since 1991.
“The War of the Walls” has been fought since 2008 when MasterLube president Craig Godfrey wanted to “find a way to showcase the projects to more of the community.”
