HELENA – Moaglie is an outgoing kitty looking for a place to call home. He is three years old, but has only been at the Humane Society for a few months. He came in when his previous owners were no longer able to care for him.
Moaglie has a blocked kidney, so it is extremely important that he only eats a specially-formulated food, which is easier for his kidneys to process. If Moaglie consumes other brands of cat food, unapproved treats, or human food, it causes blockage which requires surgical removal.
Apart from his kidneys, Moaglie is healthy and happy, and as long as he follows his diet strictly, he’ll be fine.
Cat Program Coordinator Katie Axline-Pitman said that, “he’s got a bit of spunk to him.” He is just three years old, so he still has plenty of energy and likes to be active and play.
You can visit Moaglie at the Lewis and Clark Humane Society, open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-6, and Thursdays and Saturdays from 12-4:30.
