BILLINGS- Earth’s mightiest heroes hit both the silver screen and the streets of Billings Thursday night.

Fans of some of Marvel’s greatest creations showed up in costume for opening night of “Avengers: Endgame” at Shiloh 14 in Billings. The downtown Babcock Theater also showed the movie.

“Endgame” is the long-awaited second half of 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War.” The movie is the culmination of 21 films, spanning over a decade, all tied together to end this chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

From characters like Captain America and Iron Man, to Doctor Strange and Nick Fury, Marvel fans turned out in force to show support for the franchise.

The domestic opening weekend is predicted to rake in between $250 million and $300 million.

Infinity War currently holds the top spot, opening at $257 million

Fans across America were so excited for tonight’s premiere, tickets were put on eBay for thousands of dollars.

This listing is selling four tickets for $60,000.

But this is hardly the end of the Marvel movies. Many of the characters that were introduced have planned sequels on the way.
