Lodge Grass man killed in rollover crash

LODGE GRASS – One man is dead and another person injured after a rollover crash near Lodge Grass.

The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. Monday on Forty Mile Road and Owl Creek Road.

The Montana Highway Patrol said the two were driving southeast on Forty Mile Road when the car left the road off the right side for an unknown reason. The driver over-corrected and the car rolled, coming to land on the roof.

The passenger, a 37-year-old Lodge Grass man, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital.

MHP said drugs and alcohol are both suspected factors in the crash.
