HELENA — Spring has finally sprung with the reopening of Bill Roberts Municipal Golf Course.

This year, the course is kicking off its opening with a newly renovated bar and grill, “Muni’s.” The restaurant recently opened to the public as the course opens tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9.

Friends and family can play 18 holes for $36 and rent a golf cart for $8 a person.

Juniors and seniors as well as all military are discounted. Children from 6-18 can play for $175. A season pass for the course is $746 for adults, and $380 for adults ages 19-29.

“Muni’s” offers an assortment of appetizers, burgers, wraps and more.

Scott Longenecker, head golf professional, expressed enthusiasm saying, “We’re excited to be able to do club fit and get people dialed-in to their golf equipment with the simulators so we will be able to do that all year. But mostly we are just looking forward to getting outside and seeing the ball fly.”
