HELENA – A Helena judge set bond at $10,000 for an east Helena woman who is accused of trying to set fire to a car.
28 year-old Katie Wheeler appeared in Lewis and Clark County justice court Monday on charged of attempted arson and partner/family member assault.
According to police, officers arrived at the 2400 block of Broadway just after 10 Sunday night.
Police received reports of a woman who had allegedly assaulted a man and a woman and threatened to burn down an apartment.
Police say during their investigation witnesses accused Wheeler of pouring flammable liquid on a vehicle and attempting to light it on fire before others stopped her.
