HELENA- The Salvation Army has packed extra care for those affected by frozen pipes due to severe winter weather.

Despite their own frozen pipes in house, the Salvation Army is providing bottled water for anyone in the community in need of fresh drinking and or cooking water.

The water was bought by the Salvation Army by Captain Rob Lawler, in efforts to aid those without.

Lawler said, “We’re helping donate water. This building we are in, is actually frozen so we are experiencing the same thing as many of our neighbors. So, ours has been out since the weekend and in seeing the article and reports on social media, we wanted to make sure we could help out by providing water, at least fresh drinking water. Saw some possibilities of people melting snow for water and thought, ‘you know maybe we can make sure they have good drinking water.’”

The water will be available to the public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
