GREAT FALLS- Delano Thomas Kipp is facing charges for tampering with evidence in a case involving Guadalupe Pablo Galicia Sr.
Galicia has been listed as a co-defendant in the case.
According to court documents, on Dec. 26, 2018, Galicia stabbed a man in Great Falls. During the assault, Galicia was also seen assaulting and grabbing a woman, who was later identified asBrook-Lyn ArrowTopKnot. After the stabbing, Galicia left the scene.
Court documents state Galicia and ArrowTopKnot visited Kipp’s apartment on Dec. 26 and he later drove them somewhere.
On Dec. 27, the Great Falls Police Department reported they were trying to locate both Galicia and ArrowTopKnot.
Investigators spoke with Kipp on Dec. 28 about ArrowTopKnot and Galicia. Kipp claimed to have seen them at a convenience store on First Avenue North the morning after the stabbing.
When detectives viewed the security footage, they found Kipp, Galicia, and ArrowTopKnot were not at the location as Kipp had claimed.
Upon further investigation, police learned Galicia was involved in a “drug deal gone bad” and kidnapping on Dec. 25, according to court documents.
Once a search warrant was obtained, investigators learned Kipp deleted at least one text and all of his Facebook messages with Galicia.
Galicia was later arrested in Browning on Jan. 18, and ArrowTopKnot was found safe.
Kipp faces charges for felony tampering with or fabricating physical evidence (solicitation), felony obstructing justice, and felony tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
