HELENA – The annual tradition continues with Blackfoot Brewing Company and the Helena Food Share Tuesday.
For the 12th year in a row, the brewery has partnered with the food share and Mosaic Architecture to brew and sell their Mardi Gras Red Ale, with all the proceeds going to the Food Share.
“It’s a great fundraiser, and then on top of that it’s just a really great way for us to come together and celebrate the successes that we’ve had and our partnerships, and thank those that have supported us all year long,” said Helena Food Share develop director Daneal Lightner. “Beer is a great way to connect with people, absolutely!”
And if you couldn’t make it out to Blackfoot Tuesday you’ll have another chance to help the food share Wednesday with their Doorsteps to Kids Packs drive. If you live in the Helena city limits, place kid-friendly food on your doorstep and volunteers will pick it up.
