GREAT FALLS— There was no smile left behind at an event held at Great Falls College MSU this Saturday morning.
The dental hygiene and dental assisting students hosted No Smile Left Behind Community Dental Day.
This is the second year Dental Hygiene Student Cheyenne Smith has participated in the one day event.
“I love seeing the smiling faces, even in this super cold weather. They show up and support us, and I am thankful we can provide this great service for them,” Smith said.
Dentist from around Great Falls donated their time to No Smile Left Behind.
Community members were able to get teeth cleanings, teeth extractions and health screenings.
There was also a health fair hosted by partners from Healthy Lives, Vibrant Futures.
“All of the people that are here today believe in a healthy community and the partnership and unity that goes along with it,” Lacey Hallett, United Way of Cascade County community impact coordinator said.
The goal of Healthy Lives, Vibrant Futures is to improve the culture of health across Cascade County.
