HELENA – Plans for a new addiction recovery program in the Helena area were presented on Friday to local leaders. justice officials and addiction specialists.

Mountain Family Fellowship Church announced that they’re planning on opening a “Hope Center” for women in need.

Hope Center is a live-in faith-centered and evidence based recovery program with other location in Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

The minimum length of stay in the program is 8 months which includes 24 hour supervision, court liaison services, an aftercare plan and more.

There would be a monthly fee of $700 for a client attending the program. Hope Center would also offer an indigent work program for those that can’t afford the monthly fee.

Members of the program must also be a member of the partnership church with the local Hope Center.

Pastor Paul McElroy of Mountain Family Fellowship said it takes a collaboration through the community to make a real impact and every person in need of recovery has a story.

McElroy added that his hopes are this project will lead to other care opportunities for women in need.

“It’s in our hearts’ desire to see a crisis pregnancy there as well to help women in those situations. So big Dreams, big vision but we serve a big God,” said McElroy.

Mountain Family Fellowship is looking to raise $200,000 for the Hope Center and will be holding a fundraising gala May 17.
