\HELENA – Lewis and Clark Fairgrounds will host the 17th annual Florence Crittenton’s fundraising event, “Paint the Town Pink” on Saturday.
The event is a fundraiser Florence Crittenton’s programs for young families.The gala raises money for Florence Crittenton programs for pregnant women and young families. The organization provides substance abuse and mental health services, as well as parenting education and connection to community support organizations and agencies.
The theme this year is vintage circus.
On Friday, volunteers and staff worked diligently putting finishing touches on the decorations. The evening is expected to be both entertaining and educational. Along with live music and circus style entertainment people will share stories of families Florence Crittenton has helped.
Carrie Krepps, Development Director at Florence Crittenton expressed her excitement for the evening, “You know one of the most important things out of this night is we get to hear from some of our current and past clients.” Krepps continued, “ It really helps us get a perspective of what families are going through on a daily basis.”
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and tickets are $125 with live music by Helena’s “Ten Years Gone.”
All proceeds will be benefit young families in Florence Crittenton programs, including residential and community-based services.
