BILLINGS- Negotiators for union refinery workers the Billings ExxonMobil plant have reached a tentative agreement for a new three-year contract.

Derek Weber, chair of the local United Steelworkers 11-470, and ExxonMobil spokesman Dan Carter both confirmed the deal.

The two sides negotiated on the local issues Friday, and their agreement will be presented to the union’s 140 members at the Billings plant.

No work stoppage will take place before the vote.
