A Whitefish representative introduced a bill that would extend brewery hours across Montana.
House Representative Dave Fern introduced Bill 185 earlier this month. The bill would revise brewery operation hours and extend taproom hours from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The brewers would still be unable to sell more than 48 ounces of malt beverage to a customer, however. They would also be unable to produce more than 2,000 barrels annually for on-premises consumption.
The bill will have its first hearing in the House Business and Labor Committee on February 5.
