President Trump: deal reached to reopen government for three weeks

UPDATE 12:21 PM: President Trump announces a deal has been reached to reopen the government.

The deal will open the government temporarily for three weeks, until February 15th.

President Trump says he will sign the deal soon so federal workers will receive back pay.

The deal will allow congress to work on a Homeland Security bill to put before the President. During the news conference, President Trump continued his call for walls and physical barriers on the border but also for improved equipment for Homeland Security and Border Patrol Agents
