GREAT FALLS — More than 100 men, women, and children raised their voices today at the Great Falls Women’s March.
People gathered at Gibson Park for songs, speeches, and community.
Speakers addressed a variety of issues, including Medicaid expansion, equal pay, reproductive rights, and missing and murdered indigenous women.
Organizers say this was not a registered march with others happening around the country, but they felt it was still important to demonstrate on a local level.
Those that came out were encouraged to stay politically active and to engage others, and despite the name, organizers say this was a march for all Montanans— to encourage diversity and equality.
