A former U.S. Postal Service employee in Pondera County who was found guilty of tampering with residents’ mail was sentenced Thursday.
Kayla Gruce was sentenced to three years probation for one count of theft of mail by officer or employee and three years probation for one count of destruction of mail. The terms are to run concurrently.
A federal jury found Gruce guilty last August. According to court documents, the incidents in question took place between June of 2017 and September of 2017.
