GREAT FALLS – A new tattoo and piercing shop is open in Great Falls.

Falls Ink opened on Black Friday but are ready to help spread a message.

Owners Kimberly Pegg and Andrew Littrell want to give back to veterans and those who actively serve.

“We mostly wanted a place where you don’t have to get a tattoo. You can come here, get out of your head, have support, have people you can relate to and just make some friends,” Pegg said.

Falls Ink will offer a 50% discount to veterans and active military members.

Pegg and Littrell are no rookies to the business. They both worked in tattoo shops in the past and say it was time to open a place of their own.

Littrell says they chose to help vets because he too is one.

“I struggled for a long time with severe PTSD, the nightmares. I turned to other things to deal with it, which weren’t the right things,” Littrell said.

He tells MTN that if he had a place such as Falls Ink to turn to, coming home from deployment would have been a lot easier.

“Sitting in an office talking is too formal, at least for me,” Littrell said.

Littrell was enlisted in the Air Force for the Tactical Response Force Team. He spent time in Afghanistan.

“I know I’m not the only one struggling. We’re here. If you are local, please stop by. We’re here for you anytime. For the ones far away, there’s help out there,” Littrell said.

Their hours of operation at Tuesday-Sunday 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. But they want you to know, if you need them, they will be there.

Falls Ink is located at 3017 10th Avenue South. Their phone number is (406)-315-2929.

You can follow them on Facebook.
