MISSOULA – A 26-year-old Missoula man died in a one-vehicle accident Thursday night after he hit two parked vehicles.
Missoula Police Department spokesman Sgt. Travis Welsh says the man was driving on Schramm Street just west of North Reserve Street at 7:15 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and drove into two parked vehicles.
The car then tipped over onto the driver’s side after the collision.
Sgt. Welsh says the victim died at the scene while a 24-year-old male passenger was taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Sgt. Welsh says both men were not wearing seatbelts. Missoula police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
The name of the victim has not yet been released pending the notification of the next of kin.
