GREAT FALLS – Some middle school students in Great Falls are getting new tools to work with thanks to a grant from the Gianforte Family Foundation.

The grant helped launch Ram Enterprises at East Middle School this year.

Ram Enterprises is an offshoot of GrizzBiz, a similar student-run business that specializes in woodworking, engraving, and ceramic products.

The grant also provided an updated laser engraver for North Middle School and extra bandsaws and sanders for both schools.

GrizzBiz instructor Pat Volkmar said in a news release the new equipment will help the program reach more students as well as fulfill more orders this holiday season.
