Stacked stacks up to the competition.
Billings restaurant, Stacked, traveled to Orange Beach, Alabama for the World Food Championships that took place Sunday.
The World Food Championships is the highest stakes food competition in the world.
Bo Jackson was one of the burger sponsors, so teams had to use Bo’s burgers to make a “Juicy Lucy” for their structured build category.
The modeled their Lucy’s Best Bite after Stacked’s own Best Bite Burger.
The result was a meatloaf burger, stuffed with Pepper Jack and Goat cheese, crusted in Sumatra Coffee.
This earned them a spot in the Top Ten Division.
For the Top Ten category they created a Seared Sesame Poke Burger.
This was a teriyaki burger with guacamole, green tomato ginger pico, sesame crusted yellowfin, wonton shreds, and habanero Romanoff Caviar on a double sesame bun baked by Buzzcatz Bakery.
The team will return to Billings with a fourth place finish.
