MISSOULA – Shane Pelletier is back in the Missoula County jail after violating the terms of his release multiple times, according to court documents.

Pelletier is currently facing a charge of sexual intercourse without consent from an incident that occurred in August of 2017.

Court documents say he brought a woman he found unconscious back to his apartment and had sex with her without the woman’s consent.

Pelletier was released on pretrial supervision in October 2017 but according to a report from Missoula Correctional Services, Pelletier has violated the conditions of pretrial release multiple times.

Pelletier tested positive for consuming alcohol twice and admitted to pretrial supervision that he had consumed alcohol a third time.

A more recent fourth violation was reported by Pelletier’s mother who told an officer that he had passed out in his mother’s front yard after consuming a fifth of vodka and a case of beer.

An arrest warrant was then issued for Pelletier and he is currently in Missoula County Detention center on pretrial supervision violation charges.
