HELENA – Lieutenant Jayson Zander issued a press release, stating

“At approximately 6:18 a.m. Friday, members of the Helena Police Department and the Lewis & Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2500 block of County Club to execute a search warrant.

Detectives had been working a case involving the resident(s) and established evidence there were several stolen items on the premises.

Due to the size of the property, numerous Officer and Deputies responded.

A police vehicle was used to push open a gate on the property due to inaccessibility.

There were several dogs on the property resulting in one Officer and two Deputies being bit. Several stolen items were recovered and the case is active.

While on scene, one 48-year-old Billings man was identified and it was discovered he had a valid warrant for his arrest. He was arrested on the warrant and booked into the LCSO jail.

No further information is available at this time as the case is still actively being investigated.”
