Spooky Skate returns to Missoula

MISSOULA – Goblins and superheroes, zombies and more took over the ice at the Glacier Ice Rink on Sunday to take part in the annual Spooky Skate.

Dozens wore their Halloween costumes and strutted their stuff on the ice in what has become a very popular seasonal event at the rink.

Skaters enjoyed a costume contest, a haunted hallway, candy and a performance by the Missoula Figure Skating Club who took the Michael Jackson hit “Thriller” and brought it to life.

The club offers figure skating and hockey lessons for those wanting to learn to do a salcow dressed as Superman or a hockey stop dressed like the Hulk.
