HELENA – The Helena Interagency fire investigation team is now investigating an early Saturday morning fire at the Red Roof Cafe.
According to Helena Assistant Police Chief Steve Hagen, the fire is considered “suspicious.”
It seriously damaged the building, located at the corner of Euclid avenue and Joslyn Street.
The fire department told MTN a person driving by reported the fire just after 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control, but the roof and attic are severely damaged.
No one was inside the building at the time.
Battalion Chief Fred Pippin said he believes the building was for sale.
