GREAT FALLS – Kids from across Great Falls Public Schools got into the Halloween spirit on Monday, as Torgerson’s handed out 850 pumpkins to first-grade students across the school district.

The young students took their pumpkins back to class and they will start to learn all things pumpkin.

They will weigh and measure them, put them in water, cut them open, and count the seeds.

Some students were excited at the size of their pumpkin: “It is going to be bigger than all the pumpkins I have got. Usually all my pumpkins are the size of the circle in my hand,” Korbyn Plunkett said.

Torgerson’s also supplies pumpkins to rural and private schools as well.
