MISSOULA – Voter registration is coming to a close Tuesday evening across Montana, although county elections offices can still help you get signed up if you visit in person.
Tuesday, October 9 is the statewide deadline for voter registration, with elections offices closing 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Missoula County Elections Administrator Dayna Causby says voters don’t need to include a copy of their driver’s license with those forms. However, they need to fill out the form with a driver’s license number, or the last four digits of their Social Security number to confirm their identity.
Starting on Wednesday, any registrations, address changes or name changes will require an in-person visit at an elections office.
