BILLINGS – Thursday marked the official grand opening of Blaze Pizza at the Rimrock Mall.
Blaze is a national fast pizza chain and the restaurant in Billings is the first in Montana.
The restaurant’s founders wanted to create a place to get pizza quickly, made with fresh ingredients.
Dough is made in-house daily and blaze also offers gluten-free option.
Pizzas are cooked in less than three minutes, but they also offer restaurant seating if you’re not in a hurry.
“We want people to be comfortable when they come in here. We want them to understand that this is about individuality, and this is why we have where you can build anything you want, all of the pizzas and ingredients you want. It’s all one price. If you want everything, you can get everything. It might take a little longer than three minutes to cook, but you can do it.” said Matthew Colebank, president of Montana Restaurant Brands.
To celebrate their opening, the first 100 customers on Thursday will receive a card for one free pizza a month for a year.
There may be possible traffic issues in the area Friday as Blaze will be offering free pizza to all.
