BOZEMAN – The Museum of the Rockies is opening its doors free of charge to the public this Saturday.
This is in honor of the 14th annual Museum Day, sponsored by Smithsonian magazine. You must visit the Museum of the Rockies website to become a Museum Day ticket holder, which is free of charge. This is a nationwide celebration that the museum says it is thrilled to be a part of.
“Participating museums around the country offered free admission to over a quarter of a million people last September. We are so excited as we are a Smithsonian affiliate,” said Marketing Director Alicia Thompson. “We are super-proud to partner with Smithsonian Magazine and offer up our museum to anyone who wants to come in and engage and be inspired by our exhibitions.”
Museum of the Rockies will also be opening two new exhibits on Saturday.
