HELENA- MTN News has learned that President Trump is coming to Montana, again, next week – this time in Billings.
Sources tell MTN that the president will be in Billings next Thursday – speaking at a rally at the Metra.
It will be the second time in two months that the president has visited Montana, to campaign for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale.
Trump held a campaign rally in Great Falls on July 5th.
The Trump White House has said the president intends to spend plenty of time campaigning this summer and fall – particularly in states that have competitive U.S. Senate races.
Republicans currently hold a slim 50-to-49 majority in the Senate – but Democrats are defending numerous seats in states won by the president in 2016.
Rosendale is challenging Democratic U.S. Senator Jon Tester.
