BUTTE – Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte was recently recognized by Money magazine as being in the top 25 public universities giving students the most bang for their buck.
The magazine data shows graduates from Tech will earn more money faster after graduation than they put into their tuition costs.
“The benefit of it here is we’re a complete access school here at Montana Tech, so you get to come here, then it’s up to you to prove yourself when you’re here,” said Vice Chancellor Joe McClafferty. “The good part about it is it’s not extremely expensive to come to Montana Tech.”
Other big-name schools on the list include the University of California Berkeley, University of Michigan and Virginia Tech.
