Beautiful weather on Monday will get warmer on Tuesday. High pressure will cross the state on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies, gusty wind and even warmer temperatures. Highs will mainly be in the mid to upper 60s, but some towns in central and eastern Montana will hit the low 70s. West wind will gust between 20 and 50mph. Wednesday will start out with continued warm and windy conditions but clouds will increase later in the day with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms moving in the evening. Showers and some mountain snow will move through the state on Wednesday night and Thursday. Thursday will feature a pot-pourri of weather with sun, clouds, showers, mixed rain/snow showers, mountain snow, gusty wind and even a few rumbles of thunder. HIghs will be much cooler in the 40s and 50s, 30s in the mountains. Friday will have a little more sunshine but showers will fly once again through the afternoon. Snow flakes will fly in the mountains as well. The weekend will have a bit of a warmup. Saturday should be mostly sunny with highs back into the 50s and 60s. A trough will pass through the state on Saturday night with a few showers that may linger into Sunday. The later part of the weekend will be partly cloudy, breezy and mild with a few showers over the mountains and along the Hi-Line. While early next week looks a little unsettled, a major warmup with temperatures in the 70s and possibly the 80s could move into the state later in the week.
Have a great day.
