One-year-old Motley is looking for a home

Posted

HELENA – Motley is a one-year-old who came in to the Humane Society two months ago.  He was shy initially, but eventually warmed up to staff at the shelter. Even though he has made some friends at the shelter, he is eager to find a permanent home.

Katie Axline-Pitman, the Cat Program Coordinator at the Lewis and Clark Humane Society, said that he will need sometime to adjust in a new environment, just like any cat. “Get him into a home, and give him some time to adjust, and he’ll come out of his shell,” she said.

The shelter can be a stressful environment for the animals, and Motley is no exception. Axline-Pitman says she would love for Motley to be adopted soon and start living a happy home life.
