Paw-sitively adorable pup looking for a home

Posted

HELENA – Prue came in as a stray over two months ago and has been at the shelter ever since.

Staff haven’t seen many people interested in adopting pru, because she doesn’t always put her best paw forward in her kennel.

But she has visited a few foster homes, and made herself right at home quickly.

She enjoys going on hikes just as much as she likes hanging out on the couch, and could be a good companion for an older dog.

Rebecca Howard, the Dog Program Coordinator at the Lewis and Clark Humane Society, remarked, “Prue has been here for 78 days, and that’s just not fair. She needs to go home. She’s a fantastic dog, she’s spayed, she’s current on her vaccinations, she’s got her microchip – she’s just ready to pack her bag and get out of here and really start her life.”

If you’d like to meet Prue and get to know what she’s like in person, you can visit her at the Humane Society.  They are open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-6, and Thursdays and Saturdays from 12-4:30.
