Spay-ghetti Dinner To Benefit Pets Like Bandit

HELENA – This Saturday, the Humane Society’s annual Spay-ghetti Dinner will help raise funds for the Lewis and Clark Humane Society.  The goal is to raise 30 thousand dollars to renovate outdoor spaces at the shelter, including kennels and play areas.

This will improve animals’ time at the shelter immensely, especially pets like Bandit, who has been in Humane Society’s care for a month.

While staff typically try to get animals into their forever homes as soon as possible, Bandit has had a few medical problems during his tenure there. Staff want to ensure a definite diagnosis before sending him into a home.    Once he gets more information from the vet, he will be able to go home right away!

If you’re interested in attending Saturday’s event, there are still tickets available, but you’ll need to arrive early.  The event begins at 5 pm with “Yappy Hour,” followed by dinner and a live auction. All proceeds will go towards outdoor renovations.

For more information on the event, you can head to the event’s Facebook page.

The shelter will be closed to the public for the rest of the week as staff are preparing for the fundraiser this weekend. Regular hours will commence on Tuesday.
