Lucy has a lot of personality. She came in to the shelter with a full wardrobe from her previous owners, and she loves showing it off.
As is typical of French Bulldogs, she needs lots of attention. Miss Lucy does not do well when she is left alone, so home where she is around people for most of the day is ideal. She does great with kids and cats, but not with other dogs- this lady likes to be the star of the show.
If you’d like to meet Lucy, the Humane Society is hosting Wag-O-Ween next Tuesday, October 30, from 3-6 pm.where you can come in and see the animals. They are also giving out Halloween goodies in exchange for donations of items that the shelter greatly needs, including laundry detergent, blankets, cat litter scoops, and Nylabones. A full list of needed items can be found on the event’s Facebook page. During this event, there will be no adoptions, but it’s a great time to meet the animals.
The Humane Society’s regular business hours are from 12-6 on Tuesdays and Fridays, and from 12-4:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
