HELENA — This week's Pet of the Week is a dog and her name is Raven.
Raven came into the shelter a couple weeks ago and is looking to find a new home. She is an absolute people lover and staff stay she never misses an opportunity to snuggle.
Raven is about one year old and was an owner turn in, so she's already accustomed to living in a home.
She's happy to go on a walk, or just hang out on the couch.
And if you've got young kids in the house - Dog Program Coordinator Rebecca Howard said that's even better.
"She loves kiddos. Absolutely adores them. So she'd do great in a home with lots of kids or even one kid or no kids," Howard said. "She really is just a fantastic dog looking for a great fit. We think she'd do really well with another dog or maybe even a couple of dogs if they were willing to accept her into the family. But she's a great dog."
You can visit Raven on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-6, and Thursdays and Saturdays from 12-4:30.
