FORT BENTON – The Montana History Foundation and Fort Benton Museums is inviting people to bring fine art, rare and valuable treasures, historic objects, and interesting items to the Montana Antiques Appraisal Fair.

The event will be on for Saturday, September 22, at the Montana Agricultural Center in Fort Benton.

Appraisers Timothy Gordon, Grant Zahajko, and Allen Rodgers will provide verbal valuations. All three appraisers have appeared on the long-running PBS series “Antiques Roadshow.”

A press release states they have extensive knowledge and experience appraising a variety of items.

Suggested items to bring include paintings, textiles, rugs, ceramics, photographs, Western and Native Americana, sports memorabilia, militaria, dolls, or any other objects and oddities. No firearms please.

For $15 per item, people can bring up to three items per person (or six items per couple) to be appraised.

General admission for spectators is $5 at the door. You can buy appraisal tickets online here.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the History Foundation and the Fort Benton Museums.

The Montana Agricultural Center is located at 1205 20th Street.
