MISSOULA – There’s a colorful new addition now adorning one Missoula street.
Empower Montana — with the help of the City of Missoula — has installed a rainbow crosswalk on Pine Street between the Missoula Art Museum and Adventure Cycling.
The project was proposed by Empower Montana to show support for the LBGTQ community and to the group set a goal of raising $6,000 to install the rainbow crosswalk.
Donations to the project will go towards the cost of maintenance of the crosswalk which is expected to last between five and 10 years.
