Hi, I want to introduce myself. I am Travis and I am one of the new owners of Great Divide. I’m excited to be up here with my family offering a safe, fun outdoor recreational experience during this difficult year.
At Great Divide, we pride ourselves on being a Ski Area for our local communities. This year we believe this is more important than ever before. We understand how difficult this year has been for our local friends and families and want to be able to provide a safe, fun, recreational outlet for everyone.
We have spent the past seven months working with federal, state, and local partners to be able to provide the safest environment possible for our guests to enjoy.
To ensure the safest environment for our guests and staff we have gone through every department and reworked procedures to reduce touch points, reduce time spent indoors, and increase sanitation processes, all with the goal of getting you from the parking lots to the ski surface and quickly and safely as possible.
To that end, our guests will notice a few changes up here this year. First, if you aren’t feeling well, please stay at home until you are feeling 100%.
We understand that face coverings are difficult for a lot of our guests, but we are asking for your help to ensure that we can continue to offer a safe, fun, experience for the entire winter. We are asking our guests that anytime you are inside a building to please wear a face covering. When you are in a lift line, loading a lift, or unloading a lift, please wear a face covering. Speaking of lift lines, when you are in line, please remember to give the people around you at least 6 feet of space. If you are comfortable being close to people around you, remember they may not be.
To help ease congestion in our cafeteria area we are adding a new building at the top of the Meadow Mountain chairlift. We have also added several electronic systems that allow you to make your purchases before you come up skiing. These systems speed up ticketing, rentals, lessons, and food purchases.
If you haven’t ever tried skiing or snowboarding this is the year to start, We have some of the best Ski and Snowboard instructors in the state here at Great Divide. For all of our lesson information check out our website at skigd.com
We know this is going to be a challenging year and information is changing frequently. I want to let everyone know that for the most up to date information they can always check out our website at skigd.com or our Facebook page.
I hope to see all of you up here this winter, safely enjoying the Great Montana outdoors. Remember we’re only 30 minutes from Helena, right up the road at Great Divide.
