John Riley, an East Helena native, first began reporting on Helena news back as a junior with the daily newscast at Helena High School.
Now working as a journalist and videographer for MTN, he has more than a decade’s worth of experience in broadcast and digital media.
John is most often found behind the camera making sure Montanans are informed about what’s happening in their community; be it wildfires, blizzards, political rallies or local events.
When not at work, John can be found attempting to land some trout, grilling some steaks, or enjoying the Treasure State with his family and their dogs.
John is proud to be covering the issues that affect Montana and telling the stories of the people who call Big Sky Country home.
