BILLINGS- Kampgrounds of America established itself in Billings back in 1962 and continues to carry the tradition of enjoying the great outdoors to this day.

Toby O’Rourke has worked at the KOA since 2011 and is the first female president of the company.

During the last seven years, she has been a part of record growth within the company.

“Seventy-seven million households across the country and Canada are camping and in just the past few years,” O’Rourke said. “KOA has seen a resurgence of interest in the outdoors.”

A new emergence of camping the KOA has seen is called glamping.

“The KOA is ready to take on an entire new business venture and plan to focus on looking for new ways to grow, understand what campers are looking for and new ways to deliver new experiences,” O’Rourke said.
